3D & Interactive Design

A collection of my 3D and interactive design projects.

Reel Trouble

Reel Trouble was the semester long group project that was produced to learn the Virtual Production pipeline. I was the Virtual Production Operator for my group and my responsibilities were to optimize the environment for rendering in the volume, decorating the environment, creating the sequencer for the parallax shot, and producing the Pre-Viz video in conjunction with Claire Chestnut, our director.

All assets seen in the environment were obtained via free licenses from Fab, the Cooper MetaHuman model was used as well for the pre-viz video.

Interactive Narrative

Cat in Da Way – My “breakout” Visual Novel, a short and sweet little game that has the player character interacting with a grouchy little cat in humorous ways. Put together in Unreal Engine 5, drawn with Clip Studio Paint, and borrowing music from Geoff Harvey on Pixabay, Cat in Da Way has five main endings plus a secret goofy sixth ending that is sure to leave a smile on your face. Several of the images in the gallery below move, so click on them and watch the silly little cat come to life!

Locke’s Keep

Locke’s Keep is an interactive environment focused on building and maintaining audience tension while wandering through a strange, liminal dungeon far beneath the Earth’s surface.

For this group project I was the project manager and lead texture artist. My primary duties were to fix UVs and create new and polish other textures. I did some animation and modeling as it was needed, but my main focus for this project was textures and timelines.
